How it works

    Write a, g, m and t on your phone or trackpad. A small model trained only on openly licensed handwriting suggests the other 22; redraw any you don’t like.

    Download a real TrueType font and type in your own hand anywhere fonts work. Full mode adds capitals, numbers and two or three versions of each letter so repeats never look stamped.

  3. 3Send it on paper

    When a note deserves paper, we print it in your hand and mail it: a letter for $1.00, a postcard for $1.65.

Let your agent design and send handwritten letters.

Questions

Do I need an account to make a font?
No. Quick mode works without signing in, and you can download what you make. Sign in (with a passkey — no password) to save fonts, sync them with the Android app, earn credits and send mail.
Is my handwriting used to train anything?
Only if you say yes. Contributing your strokes to a future handwriting model is off by default and asked separately for each font. You can change your mind any time; turning it off deletes the samples that font contributed. The letters and addresses you send are never part of it.
Who owns the font I make?
You do. It is your handwriting; use the font anywhere, for anything. If some letters were suggested by the model, the font carries a short credit to the open datasets behind it — that is the only string attached.
Where do the library fonts come from?
From real people: handwriting recorded for two public research datasets, UJI Pen Characters v2 and ISGL v1, both released under CC BY 4.0. You can use them freely, commercially too, as long as the credit travels with them — and our downloads embed it. Full citations.
Can my agent send mail without asking me?
It is built not to. The tools tell the agent to show you a preview, the address and the price and wait for your yes before sending. Sends are paid from your credits or through a checkout link you open yourself, and you can revoke an agent’s API key at any time from your account.
What does it cost?
Making and downloading fonts is free. A handwritten letter is $1.00 and a postcard $1.65, paid by card or with credits you earn by making fonts and sending.
